  • An automotive safety specialist allegedly died in a hit-and-run
    • He was killed by an eco-car company to cover up the fact that their dandelion-powered car was dangerous and was using human crash test dummies
  • Chuck has a lot of questions for Ned about his ability
    • Ned tells her that she is the only one that he's ever kept alive, which is a lie
    • Ned wants to tell Chuck the truth about her father, but he doesn't
  • Olive becomes jealous of all the attention Chuck is getting from Ned
    • She does an awesome musical number

      • She was killed on a cruise while smuggling gold monkeys; One of her aunts kills the murder after he breaks into their house

  • Monica is captured by thugs after getting caught breaking into a house; she was trying to retrieve D.L's medal, which was stolen from Micah
  • Sylar convinces Maya to ditch Alejandro
    • Sylar kills Alejandro anyhow and then makes out with Maya
  • Bob gives Mr. Bennet's "ashes" to his family; Claire is sad and threatens Elle

  • Lundy finds the slides in Doakes' car; Doakes becomes the primary suspect
    • A security detail is assigned to Dexter to protect him 24/7
    • Maria is devastated and tries to stop Lundy from releasing the info to the press
  • Dexter slips out from under the security detail's watch to finally take care of the body of the guy who killed his mother
    • Doakes catches him; In a struggle, Dexter gets shot in the leg, but still manages to disarm and lock up Doakes in the cabin
  • Dexter tries to get back together with Rita; Rita seems open to the idea
  • Lila hooks up with Angel to mess with Dexter

    • She meets Lexie, who is devastated to learn that she isn't Alex's only girl

    • Michael chooses the company over Jan and testifies that Dunder-Mifflin doesn't disrespect its employees, thereby losing the case for Jan

        • It matches a car that was impounded at the station when the murder occured, confirming that the Butcher is one of Miami's finest
  • Dexter is attacked by the guy who killed his mother, so Dexter kills him with a chainsaw
    • Lila tipped off the murderer in a twisted attempt to keep Dexter close; Lila also breaks into Rita's house; Dexter ponders killing Lila
  • Doakes finds the box of blood slides in Dexter's A/C unit

    • However, Grumpy poisoned her to made it look like polio to bring attention to the lack of polio research
      • House asks him to quit and calls the cops on him
  • Cameron alludes to missing working with House and the rest of the old gang

  • Deb reads cute gym guy's his emails and freaks when she thinks he is writing a book about her; it was really just a kids book
  • Deb and Lundy check out the marinas that match the algae; Lundy has 24 hour surveillance set up
    • The cameras appear to catch Dexter checking his boat for traces of blood using a black light
  • Rita's mom wants Dexter and Rita to break up; she moves in with them
  • Lila reveals she burned down her ex-boyfriend's house, killing him in the process

  • Landry's father gets suspicious of Landry and Tyra's relationship; he senses a connection with the death of the rapist
    • Tyra breaks up with Landry after his father expresses concern to her
  • Julie wants to hang out with Saracen; Saracen worries that if he does, he will be a chump so he rejects her
  • In the game, Landry gets to play for the first time and makes a huge play, Saracen and Smash finally reconcile after spending almost the entire game benched; Panthers squeak out a win

  • Dexter is assigned to a case in which a woman was shot by her Special Ops husband
    • Doakes investigates the suspect and after bonding over being Rangers and PTSD, the guy pulls a gun and Doakes shoots and kills him
  • Deb has sex with cute gym guy, although she handcuffs him first
  • Rita's mother comes to visit; she is sure that Dexter is hiding something
  • Pasquale becomes more unhinged over his fiance's supposed infidelity
    • Maria was the one sleeping with Pasquale's fiance. Once she is given Pasquale's job back, she ends it

  • A clinic patient shoves a knife into an electrical socket in an attempt to have a second near death experience
    • House then does the same thing to disprove the existence of an after-life
  • Meanwhile, in New York, Foreman is playing House with his very own team of three and whiteboard
    • he breaks the rules to save a patient and ends up getting fired

    • He discovers he has powers and could escape but sticks around to stop his captor's sister from getting raped, starting a blood feud

  • Hiro pretends to be Takezo Kensei to keep history intact as the real Kensei is too drunk to fufill his destiny
  • The real Takezo Kensei proves to have self-healing powers; while in the present day, Claire cuts off her toe to see if it will grow back, which it does
  • Maya's power is being able to kill everyone around her, while conveniently Alejandro's ability is to bring them back to life
  • Parkman investigates Nakamura's death; he questions Mrs. Petrelli who seemingly gets attacked while locked alone in a room
